The philosophy behind the site is of using the power of the pictures. Keeping things simple, rather than the use of added special effects it was clear that the pictures are best left “to do the talking”.
Almost all the pictures are from recent period (accept for the “Covers” section, which does include works from earlier periods).
In terms of usage, it was very important to keep the site very “friendly”.
From each part of the site you can easily go to any section, by using the index.
You are able to see an entire work from a given list or a sample picture in the opening page.
Another main feature is the amount of information one can receive.
Since Yaki Halperin is a strong believer in teamwork, it was very important to him that all credits are given. Each work and the creative team it involves: Advertising Agency, Art Director, Model and Modeling Agency, Stylist/Fashion Editor, Make up and Hair Artists (See “LINKS”).
The site includes 7 sections; from each the main menu is easily available.
The home page, from which one can approach any of the sections: Covers - this part includes covers of the leading fashion magazines in Israel.
You are able to find covers according to the name of the magazine as well as by years. Advertising & Catalogues - Includes samples of commercial works. One can look at each work according to a given list. Beauty - This part is dedicated to works that emphasize beauty - hair, make-up and cosmetics.
These works show one of Yaki Halperin’s strongest assets. Editorial - Includes a chosen sample of editorial work. Each editorial has its opening page and by the use of a roller, one can easily see the entire piece, and open a single picture to full size.
The site also includes contacts and relevant information about the studio and Halperin himself.
Technical Information
The site is best viewed on 1024/768 resolutions, but it was made that lower or higher resolutions can also achieve an optimal vision.
The recommended browser used is the Explorer, and when using Netscape do so with version 6 and up.
Updates – the site is constantly updated with new materials.
